Can't install Lotus Notes client

Hello group.

I cannot install the Lotus Notes 6.5.1 client on this Windows 2000
Professional, Service Pack 4, fully patched PC. The setup program dies
with the following message:

"The wizard was interrupted before Lotus Notes 6.5.1 could be
completely installed. Your system has not been modified. To complete
the installation at another time, please run setup again"

I have no clue what could be causing this behavior. The Windows logs
are useless as usual, just reporting "Product: Lotus Notes 6.5.1 --
Installation operation failed." something I already knew. Is there any
other place where I can look for information about how to troubleshoot
this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Wild guess here, but look in task manager for any other notes threads
running (maybe from a prior failed install).

One possibility - I'm pretty sure you need Administrator rights to the OS
when you install.
