Lotus Notes 8 Calendar -- Saturday/Sunday Block Size

Just converted to Notes 8, and am flailing about, trying to get used
to everything being different from the program I used previously (at
the risk of starting a holy war of some sort, I shall not mention the
"O" word).

I am one of those unlucky souls who, on occasion, has to schedule work
for a Saturday or Sunday. In the default "One Week" and "One Month"
calendar views, the blocks/columns for Saturday and Sunday are smaller
and narrower than the rest of the week. I have also found that
changing the view to begin with Sunday then causes the Friday and
Saturday blocks to show this way -- in other words, it seems as though
the last two days are always set to display smaller.

Is there any way to make it stop doing that, so that all the columns
and blocks are the same size? Please? :)

Open your Calendar and select "More/Preferences/Views"

Then select every day to be a day in your work week. Save this and
then look at the calendar view "One Work Week". You will find that all
the days are the same width.

I've noticed this issue also, and changing the work-days does NOT fix it. Also, if you read the original question, he says that Friday is showing up as shorter in his view (which is my basic problem, I don't typically work weekends), so work-days is not the issue at all here.
