I get daily these messages but I can't find anything that is causing
it, not to mention something to prevent this.

Lotus Notes Knowledge base and several FAQ's don't mention this.

Don't worry about it. ntf is a template file, and as such (in this case)
there is no need to replicate it.

Esa,

I know it's not a problem but the message shows up in my mailbox 8
times a day and it is counted as a replication failure.

I could set a lower threshold but rather cure the problem itself.

Marc,

I guess you are replicating with an external organisation and they have set
their template acl so that they don't replicate. Every time your server
replicates with them (8 times a day) you will get this error. It is always a
good idea to either disable replication on templates or remove them
altogether on servers that replicate externally. If you have your template
acl set up such that it could accept incomming design changes you could pick
up any design changes that the external company makes.

I remember a long time ago back in the Notes 3 days that our company got hit
but such an event when Lotus changed the design of one of their template
files and half the world got it!

Keith,

This is not the case. These servers are in a cluster.

I wish there was a setting with which you could set certain databases
NOT to replicate.

But I have spotted a possible problem. The LocalDomainServers were
listed as a server instead of a server group. Maybe this could solve
the problem.

Thanx,

Marc
