Hi newsgroup,
we´ve a problem with our domino server. Once started the process
nsmtp.exe is running with 99 % cpu time. We have problems with getting
mails so and
I don´t know how to fix this. Is there anyone who have had this problem
and solved it ?
best regards and thanks in advance

It may be a problem message. You don't say if your server is 4.6, 5 (
or even 6 I suppose). In 4.6 the message will be in SMTP.BOX, in R5 in
mail.box ( mail1.box, mail2.box...). You could stop the server,
rename those, restart the server and let it create new ones and see
if the problem has gone. If so then you copy & paste the messages
from the renamed files into the new ones. NOTE:There used to be agent
that acted on messages pasted into mail boxes and set the sender name
to that of the paster - disable these if there are any!

Is this Win2K? If so you need to go to service pack 3, check
Microsoft technote Q260910 to see if your symptoms match
