Hi all,

We have a small but irritating problem with Lotus Notes Client 4.6, running
under Windows 95/98.

We use Notes for internal mail, and internet e-mail (MS Outlook Express) for
external mail. We plan to integrate this in the near future, but for the
time being, we have this small problem:

Somewhere (I suppose in some ini-file) Notes is designated as the standard
e-mail client. When I, somewhere in my system, e.g. in Internet Explorer,
click on an e-mail address, Lotus Notes is launched instead of Outlook
Express. So each time I have to close down Lotus Notes and start up Outlook
Express manually.

In Outlook Express, I can enable the setting 'Use Outlook Express as
standard e-mail client', but when I have used Notes, this setting is lost.
In Notes, the mail setting is set to 'Notes mail only'.

Does anybody know how the 'Notes is default e-mail client' setting can be
removed'.

Best regards,

This "feature" was corrected on a later version of 4.6. Perhaps 4.6.2.
The current version is 4.6.3b.
