HELP! Export .cdr -> .jpg ???

Hello all ...

I am having trouble with my CorelDRAW 5.0
I tried to export my .cdr file into a .jpg, but everytime I do it, my
computer hangs in the middle of the job... (it says 50% ... than
everything just freezes).
Please, pleaseeee does anyone know anything about it?

Also, is it better to export to jpeg or gif? Which one will give a
smaller file? jpeg? How about the quality of the drawing? Uhm, is gif
will be better for drawings made in CorelDRAW?
