Hello.
We have a school project in packaging and my idea was to do a game box.
a number of other students want to do the same now. we'd like to know if
anyone has renders of characters or scenes that they would be willing to
allow us to use in our packages. All artists will be credited on the box
(via email or web site) and we have been encouraged to send a copy of
the package to the artist as well.
These do NOT pay any money and are intended to demonstrate our ability
to create a well designed game box. Old scenes or characters would be
quite appropriate too, since we have a fairly quick turn around time.

If you are interested, please contact me at: socialist punk at hotmail
dot com. (address should be formatted properly first !)

Thanks in advance

Hi,

if you're gonna design a games box then you'd probably want to give people
an idea of what type of game you're intending on advertising. Then people
could submit appropriate work, ie. skate boarding , shoot'em up, role play
etc...

from children"? ;)

In article <bqg0c8$kar$1...@newsg3.svr.pol.co.uk>,
"philip bruton" <phi...@bruton770.fsnet.co.uk> wrote:

The 'game' concept is entirely reliant upon the artwork received.
(granted, this is a little backwards than is typical but...) Its
understood that some images may require compositing to enhance the image
(say an 'orc fighting a wizard' through the skillful use of Photoshop),
but the fundamental here is not the game concept, its the packaging. We
are mocking these up in Illustrator with die lines, etc... and the
project is to create a nice looking game package.

Again, any and all 3d artists are welcome to contact me via the
skillfully reproduced email noted above (:0

Thanks
