3Delight 0.9.4 is out. This new release includes the following new
features:
 + Geometric primitives - 3Delight now supports the RiCurve
   primitive, enabling efficient rendering of fur and hair;
 + Trim Curves - An efficient trim curve implementation is
   provided with this release. NURBS trimming is now fully
   supported;
 + renderdl - renderdl now understands many useful command-
   line options. Among other things, they allow to pop a
   framebuffer display, render specific frames, report
   rendering statistics and render cropped frames. Also,
   renderdl can now read an initialisation file (`.renderdl')
   prior to RIB rendering;
 + shaderdl - The shader compiler has been updated, a problem
   with variable redeclaration have been fixed and string
   output variables are now supported;
 + Display drivers - Three new display drivers are provided:
   Kodak Cineon (film quality), BMP and EPS (Encapsulated
   postscript);
 + Windows - 3Delight is now using an industry standard
   installation package for Windows. This should fix the
   installation glitches encountoured in previous releases;
 + MacOS X - 3Delight now comes with an easy to use and
   nice looking Aqua user interface called 3Delighter from
   Robert Coldwell. You no longer require a UNIX shell to
   use 3Delight. Also, a C preprocessor (cppdl) is now pro-
   vided with 3Delight. You no longer need to install the
   Apple Developer CD to compile shaders.
The package can be downloaded from www.3delight.com. Installation
problems and bugs can be reported to bu...@3delight.com.
Thank you,
