Does anyone perhaps know of RenderMan/RIspec-compatible renderers
for IA-64 (Itanium) operating systems? Perhaps also other tools,
all relevant suggestions and input are of course welcome.

Thanks in advance.

As I know, no IA64, just AMD64 only.

I was afraid that /that/ would be the case... But, I still thought it
was worth the try asking (or, that it couldn't hurt to do so).

I'll e-mail the people of RenderDotC, maybe they know more. They used
to port to a very wide range of platforms, from what I recall. (Would
you perhaps know how it's doing?)

About RenderDotC. I recently took a look on their website and they
indeed support various Itanium platforms, which is nice. But, their
site doesn't appear to have been updated in some time.

Does anyone know what they're up to at the moment?

I have e-mailed them, a few days ago, but haven't received an answer
yet. (Say, is Rick LaMont still active on this usenet/newsgroup? I
haven't seen posts of him in some time.)
