I loaded Max 1.5 on a 586, 66 meg laptop in Win95.
My problem is only half of the Materials Editor shows up
on the screen. I am also missing some of the snap buttons.
Any Suggestions?

Sounds like your screen is running at 800x600 or less. You can drag
the material editor around and make it fit in the screen, and scroll
using the hand/drag to get to items further down the material editor.
Same goes for the icon bar, position the mouse between icons and when it
turns to a hand, drag the icon bar until you see the icon you need.

Hope this helps,
Steve

Is your laptop capable of 800x600 resolution? That is the minimum
resolution for MAX.
