I was wondering, I am currently running max on 98SE with lots of RAM
and a fast processor, with a TNT2. The problem is when i change my
driver from HEIDI to OpenGL or DirectX the viewports in max becomes
coruputed and all garbled.

Any help would be apreciated.
Thanks!!!

Sorry but the TNT2 cards are crap. Either stick with Heidi or go out and by
an ATI Radeon or Geforce3 or 4 which are fairly inexpensive. I saw a 64MB
GeForce4 going for 299 CDN whihch equates to about $5 US (Seriously about
199). I use a Radeon 64MB which works flawlessly w/ max.

In addition to the above reasons, another reason is that openGL under 9x
doesn't work except under certain games. As for direct3d, most likely the
age of the card.
