SeaScape install for MAX 3.1

I'm having problems installing SeaScape under MAX 3.1 and Win98. The
install constantly reports that the 'Matlib' and 'Seascape/Help' files are
in use, when in fact nothing else is running (does this in Win98 Safe mode
also.) Any ideas?
