What Has Max been Demo'd On?

The Autodesk web site states that Max will run on a 486 but hungers
for a fast Pentium! This has got to be a joke! I wish some one would
post some usefull, informative details on configurations that would be
acceptable to fast for those of us actually planning on using the
product for work (or home).

Note: this data is 3rd, maybe even 4th handed!!
Higher-end Pentiums (150, 166mhz) will run acceptably well, but MAX really takes off
with a P6.

It WILL run on a 486, however :) (accually, it's not as bad as you may think, if you
like going for coffee for three days straight while it renders!!!
