pslatex (gnuplot) and LaTeX

Hi all,

I've been starting to use gnuplot+latex to create my thesis. I've been using
the pslatex terminal output type from gnuplot, then \include{foo} to include
the plot into latex. Everythin works great, except I have a few questions:

1. How do I scale the plot in latex?
2. Is ther any way of using the symbols and linetypes in latex? ie. to write
them in the figure caption?
3. Is using pslatex the right way to do it? Is there something newer or
better?
