: Hi all,
:
:
..really, "recommended 1024x768" and the window resizes to 1600x1200
covering up all my screen real estate for no good reason..? ...and it's not
maximized so I can't click it back into normal size at ease either, but have
to resize it manually again... painful!
I'll look at it as soon as it behaves better... ;)

Is my site doing this? All the Java script should do is open the browser to
it's fullest while showing the address bar and stuff. It shouldn't be full
screen (there's another Java script for that).
Is there anyone experiencing this "Like a porno site where the pop-ups keep
appearing no matter how many times you close...."
I hate that allot. Please let me know what system / browser your using.
Thanks
Alfred

I totally agree that my site doesn't really need to be in Flash. Only reason
why it's done this way was because I've always wanted to pick up Flash.
So now I have. :)
The thing about broadband.... this is my thinking.
The primary aim of my website is to showcase my work, and maybe perhaps even
get some freelance work, or being hired.
If this potential client cannot even afford to have a decent internet
bandwidth, then I don't think I'll be interested to work with them anyway.
Would you work in a company that has a 56K modem line???

Seems like the maximize script is getting to people. I've re-moved the Java
script, it should now open the html the way it was last opened.
Can anyone help me with this:
Whenever I update the site, wether it's the html or flash file or even the
.txt used in announcements, it always reads the cache files instead. I need
to clear the cache by deleting the Temporary Internet files and all offline
contents (IE5.5) before seeing the updated files.
Is there any way to solve this?
The latest html should not contain the Maximize Java Script and in
"Announcement", the log should include 22.May.2001
Thanks everyone again for your input.
