Hi,

I've run into a snag. Just installed my brand new Photoshop 5 on Windows 95
Hebrew edition. Two problems though (Photoshop4 used to work great!).

1. Fonts on all of the dialog boxes seem too big for their own good. That
means I have to guess at what each option means (luckily, I remember most of
it from PS4).

2. No non-ASCII chars in the new text editing facilities. Hebrew won't
work!

Anyone with an idea?

I assume this is the US English version of Photosh0p 5.0. Photoshop 5.0's
text engine will only handle fonts using Roman (English), Japanese, Chinese
and Korean writing scripts. A "true" Hebrew font (as opposed to one where
the glyphs look like Hebrew letters but the encoding is Roman) will not be
recognized not offered as an option in the Type tool dialog. A version of
5.0 that will allow Hebrew and Arabic fonts is being worked on but I do not
have a schedule for when it will be available.
