PSP 9 to Photo X2 Ultimate

It's time for a new computer system. I was hoping I'd be able to keep
using PSP 9 with Windows 7 but a tech at Corel tells me PSP 9 will NOT
work with the new Windows.

Does anyone dispute this?

Does anyone have any advice or insight on what it's like to go from
PSP 9 to PSP Photo X2 Ultimate?

I will tell you in October.
But I don't expect it will be any different than working with Vista Well maybe faster.
The Candy Aero Graphic don't work in PSP 9. It will revert to classic view then back to aero after closing PSP, other then why should it not work.

As Windows 7 is just Vista reworked, and aside from the known very minor
problems, PSP 9 works okay with Vista.

With regard to your last paragraph YES I do it quite often, but always
return to PSP 9.

All that I can say positively about X2U is, it's the best of the four
Corel versions, but that's not saying much.

Works for me on the release candidate version. Doubt you really talked to a
"tech" at Corel... probably just an inexperienced call center worker.

Yup. You go from PSP 9 to PSP X and stop right there. There is not PSP
after X. There is only PS pee pee (nn).
