Put a raster layer over it, fill it with white and adjust the opacity.

Don't feel bad. It's the lack of good advice, knowledge, and poor
writing skills, which makes you suffer.

Try a Photoshop newsgroup. Most of the regulars in this group, lurk in
one or more, to obtain advice from the graphics professionals.

A little, but not much. You're in the same situation as Max is, with
accessing his Nikon camera. You bought software which isn't very
popular, and very few, if any, professionals use it.

However, good luck with your problem.

Hexe, Uni is a Paint Shop Pro malcontent who does his best (which isn’t
saying much) to bad mouth PSP and insult its users. Many people in
this group have him kill filed or simply choose to ignore him. You do
whatever suits you, but whatever you do, ignore his “advice”.

To answer your question, much of what you may learn in a Photoshop
group is transferable to PSP. The same holds true if you were to learn
something using PSP and wanted to apply that knowledge to Photoshop.

Best of luck.

Ignore Uni, he is a known troll and never posts any worth while answers.
His main purpose is to disrupt the newsgroup.

Tubes were made for the women, sort of like an Arts & Crafts thing :-)

I'd think someone like you, should invest in stock for white-out!!!!!

:-)

You related to this person, by chance?:

I believe he meant Horizontal, not "vert"!
Or maybe he meant Landscape, rather than Portrait!

Good question. I can't see any value in it, either. Seems to be real
popular with some people, but I can't understand why.

I sometimes think the IBM Selectric, with the interchangeable type
balls, was the pinnacle of civilization. We could have stopped right
there and been perfectly happy.

The only tubes I have are the ones included with PSP. I think it’s
akin to stamp or coin collecting or any other hobby. Seems some people
get caught up in it and can’t stop ;^)

I have however seen their usefulness when trying to quickly create an
image with say, foliage or grass on a landscape. Stamp Stamp resize
Stamp Stamp resize and your background is almost covered.

Yeah, but then you’d be stuck making ASCII art ;^)
