This image was made using several programs: Bryce for the major scene
construction, Rhino for modelling the spaceship, Poser for the people. (note
some nudity)

To get the effect of ocean waves I used PSP's spray can with low density
to give a rough coating on the crest edges, then the smudge tool to blend
the shapes. Painting a smoky trail with spray can and light colourfor the
ship, then setting the layer to Overlay gave a pleasing effect, I duplicated
the smoke into a new layer, used the deformation tool to adjust its shape to
match the other and altered for perspective. Again smudge tool plus eraser
at soft settings helped blend it in.
The lightning and glow effect was made using Ulead Gif-X (
www.ulead.com )
To blend the beach edges in better I used spray can with a darker colour of
the sand, then smudge and set layer to Soft Light to give shadows, then some
use of the Clone tool to bring the water up onto the beach.
The peoples hair had to be paintedo n starting with the dark colour as
base, then add a highlight and smudge it.
I hope you like it :)

The scene is supposed to show that despite the wonders the Future may bring,
in the end, it's all really about PEOPLE...

Thanks! :) The scene's colours actually come form the sky..I was mucking
around making random skies in Bryce, that one came up, it looked way cool,
so that's how the clours came about.
