Bruce Beard stopped by to say Hello last May. After Crosswinds lost his
site and he had no backups, he didn't bother putting them back up. He's
apparently moved on to other things.

I don't believe archive.org will work on the types of URLs that contain
sub-domains, so you could find www.jasc.com, but not
www.geocities.com/Heartland/Plains/9871/. Crosswinds also went through
at least three different sub-domain naming schemes while I had a site
there. I don't blame him for not putting it back up, Crosswinds was an
incredible PITA and were constantly losing people's data.

Thank you for replying Bill, I'm sorry he lost his site. It
is probably an understatement to say " I bet he was cross"
I will not comment on the lack of a back up, we are all
guilty of it at one time or another. I hope he will pop up
now and again. I have been reading this group for a couple
of years or so and I have noticed that many of the regulars
of a while back seem to be less active now. A merry
Christmas to all.
Stan.
