Tried glossy photo paper? If that won't do, have you consulted a paper
supply store? If you tell them what you want to do I would wager they could
help you. Try a store that caters to scrapbooking.

That's what I do, purchase a pack of cheap generic glossy paper, and that
does the trick a treat. ;-)
I'll now tell you why I took that route.
I do have some glossy Art paper, that was sourced from a printer friend,
and even though it's glossy, there's still a small amount of bleed when
used in an Inkjet printer that rather ruined the end result.

You can find any kind of paper on line, I have found places that sell
watercolor painting paper, of every quality, and then made textures
for my work, it's all out there.

I've had good luck with HP's Everyday Photo Paper... quite a bit lighter
weight and more flexible than regular photo paper, glossy on both sides.
It's not "cheap", but isn't "atrociously expensive" either -- but, it's not
easy to find in office supply and discount computer stores. You might find
it good for CD liner pictures/notes.

If you live in any sort of large city look in he phone book under ink and
or paper for a printer's supply house. You will have to buy in reams and
they are not likely to know how their product (for which they will have
samplers to look and and feel the paper texture) perform in inkjets as
they are selling for the offset prees market, but they will certainly have
a wide range of coated stocks.

You know, Brendan, I always believed people with any class, such as with
Classical Music, wouldn't enjoy a thrown together application, such as
Paint Shop Pro.
