Now seeking tutorials on scripting. Do a lot of repetitive editing
but have not been able to successfully create and run a script.

Its as simple as starting the script record doing the processes and saving
it Un less you want to get into Writing Python. Two things to remember
don't expect a script to open an image and don't expect it to close one.
Those steps as best left to Batch process. Just record the steps on an
image then save. you can then run that script on a batch of images using
batch process.
Thanks.. I googled `PSP9 script tutorial� but didn't find any
easy-to-view examples. Will have to spend more time working
with scripts, and if that doesn't work.. keep searching!!

I Believe Suz Shock has some help on her site and also does Lessons on LVS
Online.
There is a Scripting group on the corel news servers cnews.corel.com Just
enter that into your News reader
But these are more to do with writing scripts The Recorder Is just like
using a Tape deck Press the red button to start and the Sq one to stop at
the end You can also call on scripts you have and incorporated them into the
new script. That said they may well be some scripts created by others that
do Just what ever you want. During the PSP 8 Beta testing many where posted
and a lot has been done since
