Is there a simple (relatively speaking) to make a picture look like it was
oil painted? I've been playing with Brush Strokes but just can't find
setting that I like. Any suggestions on settings? or tutorials that achieve
this effect?

That would be the Painter proggie. It's up to 8 now, but I have 5 and
it's quite good. It was primarily made to produce real media looks. Ck
ebay.
