I have been processing photos to turn them into stylized water colors. I
print them out on 13" x19" 140# water color paper. A drip a water splashed
on one and left a mark. Is there some sort of spray I can use to protect
them from water.

When I was doing a lot of pencil drawings I found a fixative spray for
them, I would think you could use that or something else. I have even
used Hair spray.

Gepe, the photography accessories/supplies company, has a line of aerosol
sprays for inkjet prints, called, appropriately enough, "Inkjet Fix". It's
available in Matte, Semi-Gloss, and Gloss. According to the blurb on the
label of the can I have here, it helps protect against "fading, smudging,
and moisture." I don't know if a drip/splash of water qualifies as
"moisture"; I think that refers to prolonged exposure in humid conditions,
rather than a sudden concentrated exposure to water, but it's better than
nothing.

I wasn't able to find mention of it on their website: http://www.gepe.com,
feel free to try. Failing that, your local camera retailer might carry it,
or you could order it online from one of the large photo-related retailers.

According to the GEPE web site, the U.S. distributor for their products
is HP Marketing Corp. (which seems to have nothing to do with Hewlett
Packard). Their web site is http://www.hpmarketingcorp.com/, and they
have
a dealer locator. I found plenty of places in California. Be aware
that locating dealers by ZIP code doesn't seem to work too well -
I think it looks only for dealers in the given ZIP code, rather
than dealers near the ZIP code.

You'll find similar products in Art supply stores too.
