Working with PM 6.5 on a catalog, and when we import text from a RTF
file, on two pages it won't let us drag the frame to the page margins.
Instead, it draws a dotted line around where the fram borders were
dragged two. It only does it in this one section, and did it even
when changes were made to existing text. I've looked through the
online docs and the printed manuals, and have called a local area that
does pagemaker training, but to no avail. If anyone has any ideas,
I'd greatly appreciate some help with this. Thanks.

I'm not sure if I understand this, but if you're trying to drag the
frame vertically (ie. make it longer to show more text), then there
could be a Page Break in the RTF. If there's a Page Break inserted in
the text then you can pull the frame down as much as possible and
PageMaker will still not display any more text.

The only way to remove these is to click in the text (in PageMaker) and
choose Edit Story from the Edit menu. Then find the section of the text
that is causing problems and delete from the end of the text that does
show on the layout to the start of the next piece of text (sometimes
it's also best to delete the last word of the visible text and the
first word of the hidden text). Otherwise, go back to the original
document for the RTF and delete the Page Break there.
