When I plot a graph, GnuPlot place the grid automatically with an
automatically selected grid spacing. I want to change this spacing so that
the grid will be drawn at a spacing that I specify. Is there a way to do
this?

Thanks,
Manula.

Manula-
Try using the 'set xtics' command. The syntax is "set xtics "<start number>", increment, "<end number>""
Also, look for information on set xrange and set yrange. They simply
let you specify the range. Hope any of this helps.

Yes. The concept you seem not to have grasped yet is that grid lines
in gnuplot have exactly the same spacing as the tic marks on the
axes. I.e. to move the grid lines, you have to modify the tics. 'set
xtics' and friends allow you to do that.

Thanks,
