gnuplot libraries for perl5

I am not on the mailing list so please respond directly to me. The news
server I have access to also does not seem to have the comp.graphics.gnuplot
news group available so I am resorting to emailing to this alias.

Basically I had heard that there is a gnuplot library available for perl5.
I would like to know if that is true and where I could get the most
recent version of it.
