I'm new to GNUPLOT. Can anybody tell how I can write a function (for example
(partial V) over (partial P)_T can be written in the axis label ?

One option is to use the latex format and the '$' mode
$\frac{\partial V}{\partial P}_T$

I, however, have a problem. I can't generate latex output in the 347 patch
that I have. Also, I need output in eps format.

Creating the partial is easy {/Symbol \266}. I, however, don't know how to do
the rest in eps term mode. Can somebody help ?

I also have another problem. I'm not able to see the general (other than
X and Y axis) labels in the eps output created with patch 347. Has any body
faced similar problem, or is it due to my lack of understanding ?

What problem are you encountering with the latex terminal?

Even if you are using the postscript terminal, its enhanced syntax cannot
write fractions. But it's always possible to edit the PostScript output
outside of gnuplot...

Hmm. I can't reproduce this error. Could you please send along a set of
gnuplot commands that demonstrate the problem?
