Hi,
I was using gnuplot 4.2.3 and was not able to rotate the axis
label while creating a 3-d plot. I tried the following command but it
did not work

set zlabel "XYZ" rotate by 90

Can you please help?

Thanks,
Vaskar

gnuplot> help xlabel

The orientation (rotation angle) of the x, x2, y and y2 axis labels can be
explicitly changed from the default setting, but this applies only to 2D
plots
and only on terminals that support text rotation.
