Hi,

I am now using gnuplot to draw graphs. I need the zoom
function as there will be too many data in my graphs.

Some website says click on the right button of mouse
and drag a region, then the region will be zoomed, but
I cannot do it.

Could do please tell me how to zoom with mouse click
in gnuplot?

Thank you very much for the help.

Lydia

yes that is the way in X11 terminal -->
click right button --> drag a region --> click left button
(I use gnuplot 3.8h for linux).

Do you want to see the output graph, or print it??
If print, is better to make a multiplot set and second
graph with different xrange and yrange.

That website is talking about the not officially released development
version of gnuplot. The release version is (still) 3.7.1, and doesn't
contain this new feature.

But you can always zoom a bit more manually, using commands like

set xrange [0.1:0.3]; set yrange [2.5:3.0]; replot
