What does "support 3d" mean? GIMP is a tool for manipulating 2d images.
If you mean something like creating 3d models for subsequent rendering,
forget it; that's a job for a completely different program. If, on the
other hand, you're just talking about adding a perspective guide tool,
well, that might be doable, though perhaps not so soon as the next
version.

If you want 3D try Blender(http://www.blender.org/) its free.
