Well, I can read off the CD's, but unfortunately, most of the clipart is
in Windows MetaFile format (WMF, a vector format). I'm, of course, using
Linux. :)
Are there any utilities or plug-ins that'll let me actually DO something
with these files? The closest I found was something in Python, but it didn't
work when I tried it and the author chalked it up to a bug.
In the meantime, I can use my roommate's Windows95 box (eww!) I suppose,
but it'd be oh-so-nice to be able to open these directly.
Anyone have any pointers, or am I just out of luck?
Thanks!
Tor Lillqvist wrote a WMF loading plugin. You can get it from the GIMP
Plugin Registry at http://registry.gimp.org/ (direct url is
http://registry.gimp.org/detailview.phtml?plugin=wmf).

Yes, there is a Plugin available at the Plugin-Registry
or directly at
http://user.sgic.fi/~tml/gimp/wmf/
(this may be newer). Works for me.

And, if you try it, and notice that it can't handle some of your wmf
files, I would be interested in getting a copy of that file.
