I made a dire mistake and allowed it to get away from me while doing a re install of my Windows.

Try as I may, 2.8 is NOT a version I'll ever use again after a simple click to adjust a brush lost me the dockable dialogue in the toolbox.

This used to be an easy and simple program to use.

I want my 2.6.12 back or, no GIMP at all.

I accidentally updated to the newer version which is such an insane
shit, it is HORRIBLE. What kind of idiots are they to destroy GIMP so
badly that it even is impossible to handle text/font input?

Whine, whine, whine. Take it elsewhere, or ask for help. You are clearly
fucked up.

Merci. I hope it will run on newer OSes.
