Lisa, You are always an incredible help! Thanks again for your
reply.
I uninstalled GIMP, removed whatever residual files I could find
and then did a "fresh" install of ver 32. The library error messages
disappeard. But, I got gmic error messages. Following your advice
I installed the latest GMIC version, and, lo and behold ..... no
more error messages.

I figured out the ungrouping, but overlooked the arrangement part!
