Scaling (fill) patterns in GIMP

I came across this script

on the registry website. Upon downloading and saving it in

C/Users/[username]/.gimp-2.8/scripts

I do not see it anywhere even if I get out of GIMP and
start a new session. Also I do not get what the author
means by

" You can access the script by right clicking on a pattern and
selecting "Scale Pattern..." "

What does he mean by " ... right clicking on a patter"?
A pattern in the dialog box? Or in a GIMP window?

In any case, right clicking does not bring up scale_pattern
anywhere.

Would greatly appreciate any help on this ....

I don't use this script, but before downloading and trying it,
try this

do a right click on the name of the layer box and somewhere in the
list you must see "Scale Pattern..."

I have to try this but from what I remember from working with path I
had to right click on the name of the layer

I did see it without any trouble. I was not using paths -- just
the patterns dock.

I must also add that I have changed computers since then. I
used to have Windows 7; now I have Windows 10 with
GIMP 2.8.4.

I have held off from moving to GIMP 10 as there were some
posts in this NG about it not doing some things right.
