Los Angeles Special Event: Artist from Threshold Digital to Demo at NewTek Showcase, Dec 12, 2002

NewTek is pleased to announce that animator Ken Stranahan of FX house
Threshold Digital will be demonstrating NewTek's LightWave 3D and the
Video Toaster [2] Graphics Systems which include professional
compositing courtesy eyeon Software's Digital Fusion. Users will get a
look at the same functional integration of CG, video and compositing
that made the Video Toaster [2] graphics system the tool of choice for
Zoic Studios in their work on the series Firefly, where VT [2] is used
in conjunction with LightWave 3D and After Effects. This is a great
opportunity to see a working Hollywood artist put these professional
graphics, video and film tools through their paces, and show their
potential.
