Thanks to everyone who helped me last month with my questions
about 3D-Studio. I have ordered a video directly from Autodesk which does
give many great examples of how this program can be used.
I was woundering what people in the real world are using 3DS,
Animator Pro, etc for? I would like to get into presentation,
walk-throughs, still-image rendering, etc. Most likely for an
Architectural firm, then maybe start my own business (yea, I know, really
original.)
I'm trying to find out:
- what prople are using image processing for.
- how they got their training.
- what jobs are like with respect to availability, types, wages, etc.
- and any other related comments, suggestions, ideas, help, etc that
ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO CONTRIBUTE!!

Please let me know by E-mail, ro through Follow-ups to these messages.

Thanks in Advance.

I recently got ACAD 12, and was wondering its suitability for doing
3D animations. I was going to do the animations on an Amiga with a Video
Toaster, but it'll be a lot cheaper on my own computer if I do it myself. I
figure that I can do the animation with my normal VGA card, then rent a
better card for transfering to video. Does anyone use ACAD 12 for
animations? How about using objects drawn in ACAD 12 with the 3D-Studio?
I've yet to really dive into ACAD animation, though I have lots of
experience with it otherwise.

The basic question I'm asking is.... Can ACAD 12 do acceptable
animations?
