Dear Font Experts,

I help a small local non-profit group with posters on a regular basis.
They're on windows, I'm on linux. They're quite fond of Maiandra GD
which I gather comes with MS Office. Is there a free equivalent or
look alike for this typeface?

thanks in advance for your time and thoughts,

Myndraine by Christopher Miller might be suitable. You can download it
at DaFont:

http://www.dafont.com/myndraine.font

Be sure to read the terms of use, if any.

Thank you Bill. That will work for some of them. For the current
project I ended up using URW Chancery. It looks quite different but
has some of that writing with a calligraphy pen feel.

You might want to explore some of the other fonts that daFont has on
their site, Matt. They have the fonts listed by "theme". I'm sure
you'll find numerous fonts you can use.
