have an easy answer. Just wanting to compose a logo for a website, and the
unconcious recognisability would be another devious culture trick. Gotta be

The font goes by several names, but it's real name is Handel Gothic. Some
alternate names are "Handsome" (Elfring) and "DS9 Credits" (which can be
found on any Star Trek font archive, like Giedi Prime)... This font also
was used for the titles & credits for the 1077 movie "Close Encounters of
the Third Kind"...
(Ironic- a couple years ago _I_ was asking here what the font was for the
title of CE3K... Now I'm the one saying it... :) )
