Can anyone identify the font used for text in the Newsweek magazine?
Thanks.

Larry,

This is, as you may be surprised to learn, an international newsgroup, and
/Newsweek/ is (AFAIK) an exclusively US publication. Therefore, whilst there
may be many folk, such as myself, who would love to assist, we aren't
acquainted with the journal in question. Therefore, a link to an image of
the font you wish to be identified would prove most judicious in these
instances.

Thanks

Actually, Newsweek does produce an international edition. I don't know
if it uses the same design elements as the U.S. edition.

A quick search on "Newsweek font" turned up this link:

Carter cuts new Newsweek font
Newsweek - 14 June 1999
This weeks edition of Newsweek is set in Vincent, a new typeface
revival designed by Matthew Carter. With the new typeface Matthew, who
designed Microsoft's Verdana and Georgia fonts, continues to extend his
reputation as the person who shapes the way we read about the world.

So the Newsweek font is evidently not publicly available.
