I'd say 'Princetown' would fit your requirements. See

There is a very similar design available called... 'Letter Sweater' (!)
from an outfit unknown to me <http://www.microgetics.com/mcles___-p.htm>
For a more "European" feel, look for 'Superstar':

And finally, you could do a MyFonts search on i.e. 'College':

Oh, and take a look at Mickey Rossi's "recreations of fonts that
couldn't be found in digital format". Especially 'Athletic Supporter',
'College Boy' and maybe 'Jim Thorpe (High)' or even 'Ballpark Weiner'.

Sure. Assuming you know how to pry open the ZIP file and have found the
.ttf file inside (it's a Windows file, which can also be used under OS
X), you can use TTConverter to convert it to Mac TrueType format.

Nah, that's for OS X as well (it converts OS X specific .dfont format
fonts into 'normal' Mac TrueType fonts, usable under X as well as 9).
If you're on OS 9, and you want to use a font with a .ttf extension
(i.e. a Windows TrueType font) go with TTConverter.
If you're on OS X, and you want to use a font with a .ttf extension
(i.e. a Windows TrueType font) no conversion is necessary.

Thanks for your help. TTconvertor worked on the font I want to use
(College). As I want to use it on 2 systems (OS 9 & OS X) I needed the
utility.
