I'm looking for a version of the typeface used in the ads for "Forrest
Gump." Specifically what was used for the title of the movie, his name
that appeared over the bench in the newspaper ads. It's also used on
the front of the soundtrack as well.
First of all, what's the name of this typeface?
Second, is there a version available of it (or close to it) for PC
computers? I'd prefer TrueType or ATM fonts, but I'm sure I can study
the FAQ and learn how to convert it if it's only available on other
platforms.
I'd really prefer a shareware or freeware version. Being a starving
student I tend not to be able to afford to pay lots of $$ for a font, and
this is most likely not going to be used for anything but personal use.
Thanks all. If you do respond, I'd appreciate a CC: since I don't often
visit this group and don't want to miss an answer.

I got mine free inside a box of chocolates!
Basically, it's a slightly condensed Futura Bold or Century Gothic Bold.
