I have a PC in my home office. I also have a laptop and would like to be
able to have full control (i.e. reproduction of screen and full control of
programs, I think this is emulation ) of the PC from different rooms in the
house. Is there a software/hardware solution? It does not have to be
wireless, but reliability is important,

Regards

I think you need something like VNC.

You can try remote administrator (http://www.famatech.com/), it's like
sitting in front of the remote machine. You need a LAN or internet
connection for both machines. Very fast (LAN) and reliable.
