Well, I just installed TaxCut Deluxe using the "Wine" Windows emulator, and
it appears to be working OK so far. (I've started entering data, and while
it's doing some funky scroll bars whilst preparing to show new screens, it
seems otherwise fine.)

I have a copy of the Mac edition on order (a free addition) that I may be
able to run under emulation using Executor.

I suspect that a native Linux version is not likely to happen. The most
likely way that a "native" Linux version would happen is if companies
released tax programs written in Java.
