Caching simmilar processes ?

Hi all,

I heard that if you run two or more simmilar processes (for example the same
.exe with different parameters), WINE has some form of caching to speed up
subsequent executions. Is this true? If so, is this documented somewhere?

The reason I am asking is because running the same .exe on the same server
with different arguments, always seems to be faster the second time. If I
run the same .exe on two or three different servers, then each execution
takes the same amount of time.

I have a PHP based webservice that calls WINE to run a windows .exe (written
in fortran, it takes about 20 seconds to run and does a bunch of floating
point calculations), and I have three identical servers at my disposal. I
want to see if there is any advantage on running multiple WINE executions on
the same server, or if it's better to load-balance the requests.

Any input is appreciated.

Chris
