Can someone tell me the cheat for this program? I remember that you
had to type BOBBYPIN at some point, but it's been over ten years....

The cheat was to type in "BOPPY". The the i, j, k keys would teleport you
all the way to the left, to the middle, and to the right of the playfield.
Also allowed for unlimited missles and such.

Now all I have to do is figure out how the hell I remembered that...

From The Definitive Source Guide to Secret Keys, Easter Eggs, and
Hidden Messages, 1st edition:

A) Type "ZIPPY" during game play to invoke the following cheat
commands:
1) Press '/' for extra helicopters (up to 255)
2) Press 'J' to place your helicopter at the far left of the
battlefield
3) Press 'K' to place your helicopter in the middle of the
battlefield
4) Press 'L' to place your helicopter at the far right of the
battlefield
5) Press [RETURN] to toggle a bullet-proof shield on your
helicopter on or off (normally off)
6) Enter '-' and then a number (1-9) to jump to that level of play
B) During game play, press [RESET] twice (once to reset the computer
and then once again to get into BASIC). Enter the following:

CALL -151 (to get into the monitor)
280: 2C 83 C0 2C 83 C0 4C 00 F0 (enables the RAM card, JuMPs to $F000)
280G (executes the entered code)

This puts you in an interrupt utility called "Instarupt" which was
created by the author.
C) Use a sector editor to view a message embedded in the high score
table on Track $00, Sector $F

Note from me: You can often see the message (in a slightly messed
form) in C) just by pressing & holding Ctrl and Reset.

I've heard that there's a different word, instead of "ZIPPY" that is
used on cracked/non-cracked disks.

BOBBYPIN was the original password used on a beta version that was
floating around prior to the final release. It was changed to POPPY on
the final release, and then POPPY was edited to ZIPPY on the copyable
version.

The password is "POPPY" on the original (uncracked) version. The
pirates changed it to "ZIPPY" upon cracking it. For some reason
"BOBBYPIN" sounds familiar but I've never had a version that used
that password.

Wasn't it POPPY?

On my version, it's ZIPPY... I'm not really sure what the deal is...
I think there were a few cheats in there... I seem to also remember a
cheat that allowed you to skip to different levels and/or get more
advanced weapons (napalm missles for one..).. Anyone remember these?
I know they appeared in "Hardcore Computist" magazing (aka
"Computist")..
