I'm having problems getting Wizardry to run on the AplWin emulator, it loads
the first disk fine, goes to the intro, get all the graphics etc and then when
you press a key to continue, the little floppy light at the bottom of the
toolbar for drive 1 flashes Green (As it should) and then goes RED. Then all
is quiet... ;) Anyone have any luck getting it to run?

I did attrib +r on disk2 and tried using IIe/II+, remove enhance speed etc..
no luck.

Thanks
Tim

How did you get a disk image of Wizardry? I've been unsuccessfully
trying to unprotect it to convert it to an image. Perhaps if you send me
a copy, I can see if I can get it to work?! <G>

Sure enough, I pulled out my real original Wizardry box and disks and guess what.
Disk one is write protected (Wizardry Boot Master) and disk 2 (flip side, Wizardry
Scenario Master) is not write protected... soooo....

attrib +r wiz1.dsk
attrib -r wiz2.dsk

Voila! It works. The instructions that came with the image were backwards.
Works like a charm now! ... Pesky Dragon Fly's, we need gas masks in the game! ;)
