xemacs Compile Error (Part II)

Yet again I'm attempting to build Xemacs, this time it the latest beta
21.5.10. It's on a Solaris 8 machine running gcc 3.2.1 and make 3.80. I'm
getting the following error:

This is consistent in this release and several earlier releases. Does
anyone know what the problem is?
