I've been trying to take some of the load off my left pinky (which
after years of mad Emacs use is starting to show signs of carpal
tunnel syndrome), so I've started trying to use the mouse more.
Anyway, a number of times lately (what I mean is that I can cause it
to happen at will) I've done several mouse-1's on one of the arrows
on either end of the scrollbar, and caused XEmacs to go into a strange
state.
Basically, both the mouse and the control key stop working. What I
mean is that I can get, e.g., a "g" when the mouse pointer is in the
XEmacs window, but I can't do a C-g. And the mouse pointer is
completely hosed outside of the XEmacs window; I can't get a rootmenu,
open or close any windows at all, etc.
When I log in from another machine and kill that XEmacs, everything is
fine again.
Is this a known problem? Fixed in the much-anticipated 19.12?
