I stick with Vim, just because I work on a lot of remote servers I may not have
much control over, some very old, and I can't control what's on there.

My indispensable plugins are ALE, asyncomplete, neosnippet, undotree, fugitive,
and vim-surround.

yeah vim is always installed everywhere. Here on macOS, as well, while
i have to install neovim with homebrew...

gVim, no plugins although I do use it with cscope.
